Melissa Greggs is a designer, stylist, creative visionary, innovator, and founder of Jenise Gregg Couture--a sultry, sophisticated clothing line that screams fashion-fortitude, uniqueness and surprise. Melissa's vision for JGC is, "Couture for the family, meeting the style needs of every person represented in the household." She desires to see people empowered internally by what they wear, so she has worked tirelessly on JGC, which is now home to emerging labels: Jenise Gregg Abandon, Mini j, Mini g, and Jenise Gregg Menn.

Melissa is not new to the fashion industry. When she became of age, the very essence of her persona was formed through an endless exposure to fashion. By the time Melissa was a teenager, she needed to be immersed in fashion as much as she needed the blood that flowed through her veins. Through the years since then, she has been formally trained in the arts of fashion and design, which have cultivated her passion for her own label. Jenise Gregg tastefully executes her creativity and enthusiasm for design.

Melissa's formal fashion training began when she attended Prairie View A&M University and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Fashion Design and Marketing. She was president of the Fashion Club and was voted Most Promising Designer and Most Innovative Up and Coming Designer. During these college years, Melissa and a friend started a clothing line that had the campus of Prairie View buzzing. The label presented opened the doors for fashion shows both on campus and throughout the city of Houston. Upon graduation Melissa joined the Houston Chapter of Fashion Group International. This enhanced her business and professional relationships with other members of the fashion industry.

Since founding Jenise Gregg Couture, Melissa has expanded her services to supply custom garments in addition to personal styling. Melissa is determined to take JGC across the world leaving no rock unturned.
